Her practice focuses on customs law. Jimena has extensive experience in advising clients with respect to importing and exporting merchandise; sanitary regulation of food, beauty products and health inputs; research protocols, sanitary registration of medical devices, and the processing of import permits and export certificates before the Federal Commission for Protection against Health Risks.
Jimena also advises clients with respect to compliance of official standards, and proceedings before the Federal Consumer Protection Agency, such as conciliation hearings, registration of terms and conditions and other agreements, and litigation of claims brought before the same agency.
She also has extensive experience advising Money Service Businesses with respect to the compliance of anti-money laundering regulations, and represent them before the National Banking and Security Commission.
