CHANGE IN MANDATORY DAYS OFF

This year we will have 2 additional days off compared to 2023.

The above, by virtue of the Federal elections and the change of Federal Government that takes place every six years.

As to the change of government, it is important to mention that the exact date is October 1st, 2024.

Although the Federal Labor Law in force still establishes  December 1st as the date, since 2014, the date was changed to October 1st as a result of an amendment to Article 83 of the Political Constitution.

Given the aforementioned amendment, we additionally suggest making the necessary modifications in labor documents in order to specify the date change relative to the change of government.
