EC Legal Rubio Villegas is pleased to announce that our lawyers, Daniela Flores and Carlos Acevedo, were promoted to partners of the firm as of January 1st, 2020, due to their years of experience in the firm and in their areas of expertise.

Daniela Flores is an attorney with more than 13 years of experience in corporate law. She focuses her practice on multi-jurisdictional mergers and acquisitions and complex cross-border transactions. Her practice also includes advice on diverse commercial and real estate matters.

She currently chairs the Board of Directors of the National Association of Corporate Lawyers (ANADE for its acronym in Spanish), Chihuahua Section, leads the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program, and provides pro bono legal advice to several non-profit organizations in Ciudad Juárez.

Daniela holds a law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua, as well as a Master of Laws  degree from New York University School of Law as a Fulbright-Garcia Robles scholar, and has studied diverse law courses in Mexico, the U.S., and Europe.

Carlos Acevedo Barraza holds a Notary Public’s Patent granted by the State of Chihuahua. In addition to presiding over the firm’s Notary Office No. 10 and having vast experience in notarial services, he also specializes in corporate law and real estate transactions. Throughout his career he has participated in important business projects in the state.

Carlos received his law degree from Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua and is a candidate for a master’s degree in taxation from the same university.

With these promotions, EC Legal Rubio Villegas consolidates its position as one of the ten most important full-service law firms in Mexico. Currently has 36 partners and 60 associates in offices distributed in the cities of Chihuahua, Ciudad Juarez, Mexico City, Irapuato, Puebla and Queretaro.
