EC Rubio is pleased to announce that Lorena Mejía was promoted to Partner of the firm within the “Corporate M&A” practice, as of January 1, 2021.
Lorena Mejía is a graduate of Universidad Anáhuac and has worked as an Associate for over 12 years, providing legal advice to national and international companies on corporate law, including foreign investment, corporate governance and corporate reorganizations. She specializes in contracts and negotiations in commercial matters, including service contracts, credit agreements, purchases and confidentiality agreements. She has experience in the incorporation and establishment of multinational companies in Mexico. Her practice includes advice on corporate matters such as restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and the creation of joint ventures between multinational companies.
The new Partner is based in the Querétaro office, serving clients in the central region of the country, which is one of the most industrialized and shelters an important number of domestic and foreign companies in the aerospace and automotive sectors.
With this promotion, EC Rubio is consolidating its position as one of the most inclusive firms in the country, with four female partners. Two of them in the Querétaro office.
EC Rubio also strengthens its leadership in the country with six offices located in the cities of Chihuahua, Ciudad Juarez, Mexico City, Irapuato, Puebla and Queretaro and more than 250 collaborators.
