Jimena Acosta joined the firm in 2009. Her practice focuses on Customs Law and has broad experience in advising clients regarding merchandise imports and exports; sanitary regulation of food, beauty products and health inputs; research protocols, sanitary registration of medical devices, and the processing of import permits and export certificates before the Federal Commission for Protection against Health Risks.
She advises clients regarding compliance of official standards and proceedings before the Federal Consumer Protection Agency, such as conciliation hearings, registration of terms and conditions and other agreements, and litigation of claims brought before the same agency.
She also has extensive experience advising Money Service Businesses respecting the compliance of anti-money laundering regulations and represents them before the National Banking and Securities Commission.

Law Degree, Universidad del Valle de México.
