Labor considerations in relation with the program Youth building the future

Dear Clients and Friends,

On January 10th, the Guidelines for the operation of the program Youth Building the Future were published, effective as of their publication. This program determines the following.

OBJECT
To regulate the operation of the program Youth Building the Future in the 32 states of the country.

PURPOSE
Provide job training opportunities for persons between 18 and 29 years of age who do not work and do not study.

To achieve this objective, the Program will grant the following support:

Training in the workplace, covered by the companies voluntarily included in the program.
Scholarship in the amount of $ 3,600.00 (three thousand six hundred pesos 00/100 m.n.) monthly, covered by the Federal Government.
Medical insurance (accidents, illnesses, maternity and work risks), which will be covered by the Federal Government.
Training certificate.
The company or work center must “guarantee that the young people of this program” have the necessary profile to carry out the corresponding training, that will be granted free of charge. It should not be forgotten that this program invites companies or work centers to be part of a social labor in support of the Federal Government; therefore the form and legal documents to implement this training must be carefully planned and drafted to avoid creating labor liabilities for the company or workplace, generating discriminatory treatment or attempting against human rights.

We are at your service to advise you in case your company considers being part of said program.
