BIO

Luis de Jesús is an attorney with over three years of experience, specializing in Corporate Law, regulatory compliance, and strategic litigation in business, tax, administrative, civil, and intellectual property matters. His practice focuses on safeguarding key interests of national and international companies, mitigating legal risks, and securing favorable resolutions with a direct impact on their operations.

He has advised companies in sectors such as construction, metal manufacturing, retail, hygiene and disposable products, transportation, real estate, and industrial recycling. His experience includes mergers, acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and cross-border transactions involving Germany, Italy, and the United States.

Luis has led legal-financial audits (Due Diligence) to identify contingencies and risks, integrating contractual, tax, and corporate analysis. Among his most notable projects are:

• The comprehensive regularization and updating of corporate books for companies with decades of operation
• The registration and renewal of REPSE records for companies with multiple subsidiaries.
• The strategic determination of share premium percentages to incorporate new investors.
• Advising on corporate and tax structures for investment operations in Mexico.

In intellectual property matters, he has obtained favorable rulings in contentious administrative proceedings, achieving the annulment of IMPI decisions that denied trademark registrations due to alleged similarity with prior signs. He has also been involved in tax, civil, administrative, and constitutional (amparo) litigation, successfully avoiding sanctions and protecting his clients’ strategic interests.

He holds a Law degree with a specialization in Tax Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, where he was part of the Institutional Program for University Talents. Since 2024, he has been a professor at the Colegio de Especialidades Jurídicas, teaching courses such as Roman Law, Legal Writing, Introduction to Legal Studies, and Rhetoric.

He has represented his institution in national and international academic forums, including the National High School Model United Nations (NHSMUN) 2015 and inter-campus competitions at CIDEB. His social commitment is reflected in pro bono activities benefiting more than 30 migrants and their families in Mexico and the United States.

He has complementary training in leadership, public speaking, and industrial property. He is fluent in English and has knowledge of French, which enables him to operate effectively in international corporate environments.
