Protocol to prevent discrimination

Dear Clients and Friends,

Much has been said about the policy of prevention of psychosocial risks, being October 23, 2019 the companies’ deadline for its implementation and dissemination in the workplace. But what about this protocol?

In the reform of the Federal Labor Law in force as of May 1, 2019, it is established as a new obligation for employers to implement, in agreement with the workers, a protocol to prevent gender-based discrimination and to address cases of violence and sexual harassment, as well as to eradicate forced and child labor.

Both documents are totally diverse and cover equally diverse themes, which has led to confuse workplace violence and sexual harassment in some forums, even though NOM-035-STPS-2018 clearly states that sexual harassment is not governed by such regulation. Thus, it is also important to have the protocol, which does consider this concept.

We invite you to contact us in order to prepare both documents and thus comply with these new obligations, mandatory to all companies regardless of the number of workers they have.
