Roberta has almost 2 years of experience in labor and immigration law. She joined EC Rubio in September 2022, focusing her practice on REPSE matters, psychosocial risk analysis in accordance with NOM-035, compliance with health and safety requirements in the workplace, as well as the execution of the various immigration processes required by different clients. These include obtaining and updating Employer’s Certificates, processing of lucrative, non-lucrative, student, and family unit Temporary Residences, and in some cases, their renewals.

Roberta also interacts with clients, immigration consultants and various governmental authorities to manage and coordinate multiple immigration projects. These projects include the immigration operation of a company in the automotive industry, in which more than 70 people have entered Mexico in less than 2 years.

She has participated in Mediation Week events organized by the Judicial Branch of the State of Nuevo Leon. She also has a certificate in the seminar on Case and Crime Theory in the Accusatory Criminal System, organized by the Casa de la Cultura Jurídica de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación (House of Legal Culture of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation). In addition, she is a workshop leader through the association she presides, Ya Basta Nuevo León, A.C. on topics related to domestic violence, gender violence and legislative analysis of abortion. In addition, she assists in cases of divorce with violence, leaking of intimate photos, alimony, among others, free of charge, also through Ya Basta Nuevo León, A.C. She has also carried out multiple fundraising events for organizations such as Red de Abogadas Violeta, Promoción de Paz A.B.P., Casa Monarca Ayuda Humanitaria al Migrante, A.B.P., CORDEM, A.B.P., among others.
