Last April 20th, 2022, as a measure to promote the protection and registration of trademarks, slogans and trade names for small and medium size companies as well as individual entrepreneurs, the Mexican Government (through the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) and the Ministry of Commerce) announced a 90% (ninety per cent) reduction to the registration filing fees.
The current filing fee of $2,814.00 Mexican Pesos (approximately $180.00 USD.) is lowered to $281.40 Mexican Pesos (approximately $18.00 USD.) pursuant to this measure.
This measure will be in force until May 20th, 2022
