April 2026, we are pleased to announce the addition of Oscar Javier Villado Mendias and Alejandro Salomón Fierro to our Mining practice area team at our Chihuahua office, strengthening our service capacity to Mexican mining sector clients.
Oscar Javier Villado Mendias, associate since 2021 and graduate of Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua. His professional practice specializes in mining law, compliance, administrative law, amparo, and water and environmental regulation, bringing solid experience in advising extractive sector companies on regulatory compliance obligations and defending their interests before administrative and judicial authorities.
Alejandro Salomón Fierro, associate since 2024 and also graduate of Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua, joins with specialization in mining law, compliance, administrative law, amparo proceedings, and water and environmental law. His addition reinforces our capacity to address mining concessions matters, administrative proceedings and strategic litigation.
Both professionals join the team at a particularly relevant moment for the national mining sector, characterized by regulatory reforms, concession recovery policies and new international trade agreements on critical minerals. Their experience in mining law and compliance is fundamental to address current client needs in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
