On October 13, the Federal Official Gazette published an agreement notifying the outset of registration activities by the Federal Center for Conciliation and Labor Registry, beginning on November 3rd.

Such activities comprise the registration of:

  • Collective bargaining agreements
  • Collective contract and salary reviews
  • Internal labor regulations
  • Union registration

From November 3rd, the Federal Center for Conciliation and Labor Registry will also handle all administrative proceedings regarding such registers in the following states:

  • Aguascalientes
  • Baja California
  • Baja California Sur
  • Coahuila
  • Colima
  • Chihuahua
  • Ciudad de México
  • Guanajuato
  • Guerrero
  • Jalisco
  • Michoacán
  • Morelos
  • Nayarit
  • Nuevo León
  • Oaxaca
  • Puebla
  • Querétaro
  • Quintana Roo
  • Sinaloa
  • Sonora
  • Tamaulipas
  • Tlaxcala
  • Veracruz
  • Yucatán

Accordingly, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the Federal Conciliation and Arbitration Board, and the executive powers of the above-mentioned states must suspend all registration functions from the same date.
