BIO

Gabriela Sumano is a member of EC Rubio’s Intellectual Property team, where she joined in January 2024 as an Associate. Her experience includes:

• Organization and updating of trademark and commercial notice files, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in document management and compliance with procedural deadlines.
• Collaboration in the drafting of key contracts, such as Licenses of Use, Assignment of Rights Agreements and Agreements on Rules of Use.
• Specialized legal advice to individuals and companies on the protection and management of intellectual property rights.
• Supervision and monitoring of the use of trademarks in the market, identifying possible infringements and adopting preventive or corrective legal measures.

EDUCATION

• Law Degree, Universidad Iberoamericana Puebla (2023)
• Diploma in Intellectual Property Law (taught by Hoyos Koloffon Law Firm).
