Dear clients and friends:
We remind you the obligation of the company, as an employer of foreigners, to notify before the National Migration Institute of any change of address or legal representative, as well as to renew the employer’s registration certificate. This is in accordance with the Migration Law and its Regulations.
- Article 166 of the Regulations of the Immigration Law, confirms that any person, who hires foreign personnel, or who makes an offer of employment to a foreign person, must apply before the National Institute of Migration for the Employer’s Registration Certificate.
- Employers must notify within thirty calendar days of any change of address, representative or legal representative, attaching the corresponding public instruments.
- Additionally, employers must annually update the Employer’s Registration Certificate by submitting the acknowledgement or receipt of the last annual tax return.
… ‘Employers shall annually update the last tax return referred to in section I, paragraph e, and section II, paragraph c, of this article…’.
‘…certificate issued by the competent authority, on the presentation of the last tax return…’.
EC Rubio can help you with the aforementioned procedures before The National Migration Institute.
