EC Rubio is pleased to announce the appointment of a new administration and executive committee to lead the firm into its next phase of growth and development. The incoming committee, comprised of Ana María Becerra, Fernando Holguín, Juan Carlos Partida, and Pablo Méndez have assumed their roles as of January 1st, 2024.

  • Ana María is a partner in the Firm’s Labor and Employment practice with more than 20 years of experience, specializing in all aspects of Labor Law for local and international companies.

  • Fernando specializes in taxation, customs, and international trade, assisting companies in designing and implementing customs and trade structures for their businesses in Mexico.

  • Juan Carlos is a partner of the firm with 22 years of experience in international trade, trade remedies investigations, customs, regulatory, USMCA, WTO, administrative, and anti-money laundering matters.

  • Pablo is the leading partner of the mining and energy practice group of the firm. He also has experience in litigation and international affairs matters.

Previously, the EC Rubio executive committee comprised partners Javier Canseco, Carlos Enríquez, Eduardo David, and Oscar Bensojo, all of whom will continue to serve clients as partners of the Firm in their respective practices, contributing to the Firm´s continued success. They will also form a consultation body for the new committee.

One of the new administration and executive committee’s main goals is to consolidate the firm’s institutionalization process, building on the achievements of the previous committee. In addition, the new administration and executive committee is spearheading the final stages of negotiations for the integration of Fegamo y Vasaf, a prominent law firm based in Monterrey into EC Rubio.

Ana María Becerra, a member of the new administration and executive committee expressed enthusiasm for the new role and the firm´s expansion plans: “EC Rubio has established as a key player in the legal market in Mexico and Latin America.
